Role Description

Capilogic is hiring a US Equity Trader for a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru .

The trader will be responsible for monitoring and trading US equity markets, identifying potential trading opportunities, and managing positions according to the firm's trading guidelines and risk parameters.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor US equity markets and individual stocks during market hours.
- Execute trades based on defined trading strategies and risk parameters.
- Perform basic technical and market analysis.
- Track price movements, volume, market trends, and relevant news.
- Maintain proper records of trades and trading decisions.
- Follow the firm's risk management and trading guidelines.
- Continuously improve trading knowledge, discipline, and execution.




- Work with the trading and research teams to review market opportunities and performance.

Basic Requirements

- Basic knowledge of the stock market and equity trading.
- Understanding of basic trading concepts such as buy/sell, market orders, limit orders, stop-loss, and position sizing .
- Basic understanding of technical charts and indicators.
- Interest in learning and developing skills in US equity markets .
- Positive numerical and analytical ability.
- Strong attention to detail and discipline.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site trading environment.
- Good communication and decision-making skills.

Preferred, Not Mandatory

- Prior experience trading equities or US markets.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and charting tools.
- Knowledge of technical or fundamental analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
