Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Formulations R&D; Process Scale-Up Specialist with 35 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate with hands-on expertise in scaling up laboratory processes to industrial production, technical problem-solving capabilities, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in agrochemical formulations manufacturing environments
- A graduate degree in related field
- Strong exposure to contract or job work manufacturing setups of herbicide/insecticide/fungicides
- Good understanding of agro formulation production process of EC, SC, WP, and WG
- Familiarity with plant operations and technology transfer processes along with maintaining records of plant operations
- Ability to prepare and manage plant operation reports, BMR documentation, and site assessment reports

Skills and Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Process Scale-Up
2. Oversee the complete R&D; process from laboratory scale to commercial production.
3. Collaborate with the R&D; team on process optimization, modifications, and pilot-scale trials.
4. Plant-Scale Integration
5. Lead the scale-up process, from commercial pilot to plant-scale implementation,



ensuring technical feasibility and process reliability.
6. Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize plant processes and troubleshoot potential challenges

7. Job Work Site Management
8. Act as the primary liaison with contract manufacturing partners, managing day-to-day operations and resolving on-ground challenges
9. Oversee raw material receipt, in-process quality checks, and finished goods dispatch
10. Serve as Atomgrids on-ground representative, ensuring process integrity and confidentiality
11. Track market activity, including manufacturing trends, capacity utilisation, and current developments across key regions
12. Plant Operations & Manufacturing Oversight
13. Oversee day-to-day plant operations and supervise all plant and project activities across sites on a daily basis
14. Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with the Standard Operating Procedures provided by Atomgrid.
15. Track and report plant operations data on a daily basis
16. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations and share reports with management
17. Willingness to travel across India for commissioning and manufacturing activitie

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a agrochemicals related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in R&D; process scale-up and plant integration.
- Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners. Dynamic, goal-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
- Other Skills: Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive and "go-getter" attitude.
