We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to join the Engineering/Maintenance team at Akash Hospital. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and hospital facilities to ensure protected and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work.
- Maintain electrical panels, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting systems, and power supply.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and resolve faults promptly.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Check and maintain generators, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of emergency electrical systems.
- Identify electrical hazards and take corrective action.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Follow hospital safety procedures and electrical safety standards.




- Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance team for daily maintenance activities.
- Respond to emergency electrical requirements when required.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Experience

1–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital, hotel, commercial building, or other facility maintenance environment.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Ability to handle emergency maintenance calls.
- Knowledge of hospital electrical systems will be an added advantage.
