Position: Purchase Head – Electrical

Location: Warje, Pune

Experience: 8+ Years

Salary: ₹7 – ₹12 LPA

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Electrical Engineering

Industry Experience: Electrical / LT Control Panel Manufacturing

Joining Preference: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete purchase function for LT Control Panel manufacturing.
- Plan and procure electrical materials as per production and project requirements.
- Handle sourcing, vendor development, supplier evaluation, price negotiation and finalization.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network for electrical components and panel materials.
- Procure LT Panel and Control Panel materials such as ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors, relays, meters, CT/PT, copper, busbars, enclosures, wires/cables, terminals, lugs, glands,



switchgear and other electrical components.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production schedules and project deadlines.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Stores, Design and Project teams for material requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, credit period, delivery schedules and payment terms with suppliers.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery from vendors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Resolve quality, shortage, rejection and delivery-related issues with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost and delivery.
- Maintain purchase MIS, vendor records, comparative statements, purchase orders and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company purchase procedures and approval processes.
- Lead and guide the purchase team and ensure smooth day-to-day purchase operations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Electrical Engineering background with complete experience in electrical material procurement.
- Hands-on experience in LT Control Panel / Electrical Panel material purchasing is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical components and switchgear used in LT Panels.
- Strong vendor development and vendor management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP / Purchase software.
- Strong analytical and cost-control skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Preferred Candidate

- 8+ years of experience in Electrical Purchase.
- Candidates with strong experience in LT Control Panel / Electrical Panel manufacturing purchase will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
