Position: Ward Duty Doctor

Department: Inpatient / Ward Services

Role Summary The Ward Duty Doctor is responsible for providing continuous medical care to admitted patients, monitoring clinical progress, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with consultants, nurses, and allied healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily assessment and monitoring of admitted patients.
- Review patient history, investigations, and treatment plans.
- Attend ward rounds and implement consultant instructions.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate treatment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations.
- Counsel patients and relatives regarding treatment and progress.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control policies.
- Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.

Qualification & Requirements
- MBBS with valid medical registration.
- Prior ward/inpatient experience preferred

Pay: ₹6,500.00 per day
