Role Description The Drone Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role involves designing, integrating, and testing UAV platforms, including airframes, propulsion systems, avionics, and payloads, to meet mission-specific requirements.

The Drone

Engineer will work on assembling and calibrating drones, configuring flight controllers, and optimizing systems for reliability and performance in demanding environments.



Daily tasks include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting flight tests, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in robotics, mechanical design, and electronics. The role also requires contributing to continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes, supporting field deployments, and ensuring that all platforms meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong domain knowledge and practical experience in drones and UAV systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in robotics and related mechatronic systems integration.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in aerospace engineering principles and flight mechanics.
- Candidates should possess programming skills relevant to embedded systems, flight control software, or autonomous navigation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with avionics, flight controllers, CAD tools, and rapid prototyping is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a hands-on lab and assembly floor environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
