Mandatory Requirements

- Robust hands-on Kubernetes (K8s) experience

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant with an active F5 BIG-IP Administrator 201 certification to support cloud infrastructure, automation, containerization, and application-delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Linux, and cloud infrastructure, along with knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies.

Experience with NGINX is preferred but is not mandatory for candidates with strong Kubernetes experience.

This position requires someone who can join within a short lead time and work effectively with technical teams, customers, and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps and Automation

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Develop reusable automation scripts, playbooks, and deployment templates.
- Work with Git-based repositories and development workflows.
- Automate routine infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and operational activities.
- Support configuration management, automated testing, deployment validation, and release processes.
- Use Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages for automation.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD, automation, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.

Kubernetes and Containerization

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based environments.
- Work with Kubernetes services, ingress controllers, namespaces, ConfigMaps, secrets, and container networking.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Configure and troubleshoot application ingress, load balancing, traffic routing, and service connectivity.
- Support scalable and highly available container platforms.
- Integrate Kubernetes environments with application-delivery, security, monitoring, and automation solutions.
- Work closely with application, networking, cloud, and platform teams.

Cloud Infrastructure

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using IaaS and PaaS services.
- Support virtual machines, networking, storage, DNS, load balancers, WAF,



and related cloud services.
- Design highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Work with hub-and-spoke networking, hybrid connectivity, backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Support cloud migrations, infrastructure optimization, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred; experience with AWS or other cloud platforms may also be considered.

F5 and Application Delivery

- Apply knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies within DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, and application-delivery environments.
- Support the automation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of F5 services.
- Work with load balancing, traffic management, SSL/TLS, DNS, high availability, and web application security concepts.
- Assist with the integration of F5 solutions into cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with F5 specialists, networking teams, application teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation for F5-related configurations, integrations, and operational processes.

Operations and Customer Engagement

- Perform technical troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and change implementation.
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, capacity, and performance.
- Gather technical requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions.
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Prepare solution designs, implementation plans, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in technical discussions, project reviews, testing, handovers, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Communicate technical risks, issues, progress, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience.




- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible or similar automation tools.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or comparable CI/CD platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or another scripting language.
- Strong Linux/UNIX system-administration skills.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, load balancers, WAF, DNS, SSL/TLS, and high availability.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of monitoring, incident management, root-cause analysis, and change management.
- Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies and application-delivery concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with customers or global technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on exposure to F5 BIG-IP LTM.
- Exposure to F5 DNS/GTM, Advanced WAF/ASM, APM, or iRules.
- Experience automating F5 services through REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Experience with NGINX Open Source, NGINX Plus, or NGINX Ingress Controller.
- NGINX experience is not mandatory when the candidate has strong Kubernetes experience.
- Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform experience.
- Hub-and-spoke cloud network architecture.
- Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
- Additional certifications in Kubernetes, cloud, Linux, networking, or DevOps.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent relevant technical experience may also be considered.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong Cloud/DevOps professional with practical Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Linux, and cloud infrastructure experience who also holds an active F5 201 certification. The candidate does not need to be a specialist across every F5 module unless specifically required for the project. However, the candidate should understand F5 BIG-IP and application-delivery concepts and be capable of supporting F5 integration within DevOps, cloud, and Kubernetes environments.
