AT_MT External Shift System.

- Job Title: Design Release Engineer for MT/AT External Shift System.
- Location: Hosur
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
- Experience: 5 to 8 years

Responsibilities:

- Candidate will be responsible for Design and Development of External Shifting system
- Providing robust solutions for the failures/issues by strong Problem-solving skills, Root cause Analysis and Decision making.
- Presenting technical Decks to the management and CFT, with Strong communication skills.
- Co-ordinate for Validations and Testing.
- To release the prototype & production intent designs, complying the best practices, Function, assembly requirements and as well as serviceability requirements.
- To participate in VAVE Workshop and ensure to meet cost targets.
- Apprehend FEA simulation results and suggest for improvements in the designs.
- To be able to execute the global localization/product design and development activities for subsystem from RFQ phase till the start of regular production.
- Monitor APQP, PPAP practices and Engineering change management
- Should be able to validate the component specifications during each project phase.




- To support the program team to achieve milestones in terms of best cost and on time deliverables.
- To communicate the design risks, related changes and impacts to all cross functional teams like purchasing, quality, project, manufacturing etc.
- To participate in supplier technical reviews along with different CFTs.
- Perform Design calculations.

Requirements:

- Graduate/Post Graduate degree in mechanical/automotive engineering Discipline.
- System Expertise focussing on Manual & Automatic transmission shifting system.
- 5+ years hands on experience in MT & AT design and development.
- Strong Process knowledge of Casting, Stamping, Forging, Machining, injection Moulding.
- Should have hands on experience on Detailing, Tolerancing and stack up analysis.
- Should have positive knowledge on materials and heat treatment process.
- Should have Sound knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.
- Good to have knowledge on CAD tools (CATIA/UG).
- Strong Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation Skills & Interpersonal skills.
- PLM tools experience Ex. Innovia, team Center
- Willingness to travel to supplier places within India.
- Able to withstand the work pressure on demand.
