Position: Design Engineer – for Solar Projects

Experience: 1–2 years in solar project designing

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering

About the Role: We are looking for a Design Engineer – Solar with 1–2 years of experience in solar PV system designing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing solar system designs, electrical drawings, documentation and supporting the project team in delivering technically accurate and cost-effective solar solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Solar PV systems for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Based on electricity bills received, carry out following activities like electrical analysis, 3D-modeling, shadow mapping, solar module layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and other design drawings.




- Perform basic solar PV system sizing, including module, inverter, cable and protection selection.
- Prepare BOQ/BOM and assist with material estimation.
- Carry out basic electrical calculations related to solar projects.
- Coordinate with project, procurement and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and compliant.
- Review site information and incorporate site conditions into the system design.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, drawings and project documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
