Role Description The Dermatologist role at Prowess Consultancy is a full-time, in office position based in Salem. The Dermatologist will provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, including acne, dermatitis, infections, and other dermatologic concerns. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, prescribing medications and therapies, and maintaining accurate medical records.

The role also involves counseling patients on preventive skincare, educating them on treatment options,



and collaborating with other healthcare professionals and clinic staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and ethical patient care. The Dermatologist is expected to stay updated on current dermatology and cosmetic dermatology practices, guidelines, and technologies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong clinical knowledge and training in Medicine and Dermatology.
- Candidates should possess specialized expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology for aesthetic procedures.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in diagnosing and managing Acne and related skin conditions.
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization/postgraduate qualification in Dermatology; valid medical license/registration as required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures safely, with attention to detail and patient comfort.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills, with an emphasis on ethical, inclusive, and non-judgmental care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, manage time effectively, and adapt to established protocols and standards.
- Commitment to continuing medical education, evidence-based practice, and staying current with advances in dermatology.
