OMS tech lead

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end technical design for Salesforce OMS implementations.

Design and implement Salesforce Order Management (OMS) capabilities:

- Order lifecycle management
- Fulfillment workflows
- Inventory visibility (ATP/ATO concepts)
- Returns, exchanges, cancellations

Integrate OMS with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/B2B) or external eCommerce platforms.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and user stories.

Design Integrations With

- Payment gateways
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Logistics/Shipping providers

Ensure CI/CD processes and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins.

- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, , integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations
- Develop, test, and document custom development,



integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

Experience /Knowledge Required

- Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform

Knowledge Of

- Order orchestration, fulfillment flows
- Inventory and supply chain concepts
- Experience in eCommerce domain is mandatory.

Qualified/technical Skills

- 5+ years project experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- 4+ years or more experience with Salesforce Platform in a Development Capacity
- 2+ years or more experience in Salesforce OMS
- Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Visualforce
- Experience building integrations with Salesforce and 3rd-party APIs with the Salesforce platform. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
- Extensive development experience using Visual Force, Apex controllers, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
