Position: Design Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DC-designer with robust expertise in Data Centre MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings for mission-critical facilities, with a strong command of AutoCAD and a solid understanding of data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical distribution,fire protection, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and modify detailed MEP design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Develop engineering drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, UPS, generator, and ancillary data centre systems.

Interpret engineering sketches, markups, and design inputs to produce high- quality construction documentation.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Design Engineers to ensure accurate and integrated design deliverables.

Ensure compliance with company drafting standards, client requirements, and applicable industry codes.

Maintain drawing revisions, as-built documentation, and project records.





Participate in design coordination reviews and resolve drafting and layout-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

5 to 8 years of CAD drafting experience, preferably in Data Centre or Mission Critical Facility projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting and detailing capabilities.

Good understanding of Data Centre MEP systems and engineering layouts.

Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical Power Distribution, UPS Systems, Generators, Fire Protection, and Plumbing Systems.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, design documents, and technical specifications

Familiarity with international design standards and Data Centre best practices.

Exposure to Revit MEP and BIM coordination will be an added advantage.
