WealthMax Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. is a financial services and consultancy company focused on helping clients manage and recover their investments and financial assets. Our services span areas such as unclaimed investments, transmission and transfer of shares, unclaimed dividends, mutual funds, fixed deposits, insurance, and tax planning.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team and help us organize, analyze, and derive meaningful insights from large datasets.

Role Description The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources, including Excel files, databases, reports, and other structured or unstructured datasets. The role involves working with large datasets related to shareholders, investments, companies, folios, financial records, and other business information, while ensuring data accuracy through matching, validation, deduplication, and quality checks.

The candidate will identify patterns, trends, discrepancies, and meaningful insights, prepare reports and dashboards, and support teams with data-driven insights. The role also involves conducting relevant research, improving and automating data-processing workflows using Excel and other analytical tools, and maintaining proper data accuracy, confidentiality, and documentation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Positive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and data cleaning.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, data cleaning, and data validation techniques.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation will be an advantage.




- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and reporting tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

- Data analysis or business analysis.
- Financial, investment, shareholder, banking, or similar business data.
- Advanced Excel and large-scale data processing.
- SQL databases and data querying.
- Python and libraries such as Pandas.
- Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Data scraping, research, automation, or handling large datasets.
- Data matching, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation.

Experience A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role is preferred.

Candidates should have hands-on experience working with real-world datasets and should be comfortable handling data cleaning, analysis, validation, reporting, and extracting meaningful insights.

Experience working with financial data, shareholder data, investment records, or large datasets will be an added advantage.
