About The Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data modeling, integration, and analysis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare analytics initiatives by analyzing large-scale datasets, developing data models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
This role involves working with advanced data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL, optimizing complex SQL queries, and creating comprehensive documentation of data workflows and business rules.
The Data
Analyst will also be instrumental in building scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing system health monitoring, and guiding team members to ensure best practices in data management and analytics.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare analytics, including familiarity with benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is essential.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare datasets is required, along with experience working with Snowflake, MySQL, and modern data warehousing concepts.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of healthcare data flow, process documentation, and data validation techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities The Data Analyst will be responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks including healthcare data analysis and reporting, data modeling, and integration.
Key responsibilities include analyzing large datasets such as claims, provider, utilization, and quality data to generate meaningful insights. The role involves writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, performing data validation, reconciliation, and transformation to support regulatory and business reporting needs. The candidate will collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable data ingestion from source systems and support analytics initiatives aimed at value-based care, population health, and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the role requires creating process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io. Documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions, and metrics logic is essential to standardize reporting frameworks. The candidate will partner with various business units including Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams to understand their reporting needs and translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights.
Presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams will also be a key aspect of this role.
