Cyber Security & Incident Readiness Lead | Assistant Vice President

Location: Bengaluru | Experience: 8+ Years | Japanese & English Required

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity qualified to lead enterprise cyber wargaming, incident readiness, and response preparedness initiatives across a global organization.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the enterprise cyber wargaming and incident readiness program, aligning exercises with enterprise risk and incident response strategies.

Design and facilitate cyber incident tabletop exercises, red/blue team simulations, and strategic cyber wargames.

Develop realistic scenarios, injects, scripts, decision points, and after-action reviews using threat intelligence and emerging risks.

Lead exercises involving senior executives and CXO-level stakeholders, translating cyber risks into business impact and executive decision-making.

Assess incident response capabilities, identify readiness gaps, and drive remediation plans through to closure.

Establish and monitor readiness metrics, maturity roadmaps, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with Enterprise Information Security, regional teams, global stakeholders, and the Japan Home Office to drive consistent incident readiness and shared learning.

Present strategic findings and recommendations to senior leadership and act as a trusted advisor during high-impact cybersecurity situations.





What We Re Looking For 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong exposure to incident response, cyber resilience, threat management, or security operations.

Proven experience designing and facilitating tabletop exercises, cyber simulations, or cyber wargames.

Strong understanding of NIST, MITRE ATT&CK;, CRI, information security risk management, audits, reviews, and risk assessments.

Ability to assess organizational readiness, identify gaps, and influence remediation across multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains such as Incident Response & Forensics, Security Governance, Security Risk Management, Network Security, and Threat & Vulnerability Management.

Working knowledge of cloud security, application security, network security, databases, AI security, and modern cyber-attack techniques.

Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, documentation, and executive presentation skills.

Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GIAC or equivalent are preferred.

Experience Working In a Global Organization Is Strongly Preferred. Fluency in both English and Japanese, along with strong cultural understanding, is mandatory.
