Job Title: CSR Manager

Job Summary

This role encompasses a hybrid profile of CSR strategy execution, fundraising (corporates, HNIs, micro-donations), skilling program coordination (with NSDC, state missions, Sector Skill Councils), and impact documentation via MIS systems. The incumbent will act as a vital bridge between donors, implementation teams, and government stakeholders to scale social impact under the Samarth Bharat banner.

Role Purpose To secure CSR and donor funding for organizational programs by developing funding pipelines, preparing proposals, managing key donor relationships, and overseeing execution of major CSR-funded projects in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

2. Reporting & Scope

- Reports to: Program Head
- Scope: CSR funding, partnerships, and CSR project execution
- Coverage: Business development, proposal management, donor relations, and large CSR project oversight

3. Core Responsibilities A. CSR Funding & Business Development

- Identify potential CSR funding sources including corporates, foundations, international agencies, and HNIs.
- Develop funding strategies and lead generation plans.
- Build and maintain a long-term donor and CSR partner pipeline.

B. Proposal Development & Management
- Identify funding opportunities and relevant RFPs.
- Prepare and coordinate CSR proposals including:
- Concept development
- Information collection
- Drafting and formatting
- Internal approvals
- Final submission
- Maintain proposal templates, databases, and documentation.
- Track proposal timelines, risks, and submission status.

C. Donor & Key Account Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with key CSR accounts and donors.
- Engage donors with new project ideas and expansion opportunities.
- Ensure consistent communication and relationship nurturing.

D. Team Capacity Building
- Support internal teams in proposal development and pitching.
- Share best practices for CSR funding engagement.

CSR Project Management
- Act as project manager for major CSR-funded initiatives.

Oversee:

- Project planning and timelines
- Budget monitoring and spend control
- Coordination with creative, operations, legal, accounting, and editorial teams
- Compliance with agreements and CSR guidelines
- Ensure projects are delivered as per objectives and commitments.

F. Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure CSR partnerships and projects follow applicable CSR regulations and charity best practices.
- Coordinate legal agreements and documentation related to CSR funding.

Experience

Education
