Engagement Type: Freelancing / Independent Consultant
Duration: 2–3 Months
Working Hours: Approximately 3 hours per day
Work Arrangement: Remote, with travel required during client presentations
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Marine Crewing Consultant with strong industry knowledge and practical experience in marine crewing operations to provide advisory and process support for an upcoming customer engagement.
The selected consultant will leverage their expertise in marine crewing and industry practices to support customer meeting preparation, participate in the customer discussion, and provide process documentation and related advisory support.

Key Activities
1. Customer Meeting Preparation
- Support preparation for the upcoming customer meeting scheduled for the second week of September .
- Provide relevant marine crewing inputs, operational insights, and process-related guidance.
- Review and contribute to materials required for the customer presentation.
2. Customer Meeting Participation
- Participate in the customer meeting.
- Meeting format to be confirmed: Virtual or In-Person .
- Provide subject matter expertise and address relevant marine crewing process and operational queries.
3. Process Documentation & Advisory Support
- Document marine crewing processes and workflows.
- Provide advisory support based on industry practices and operational experience.
- Review existing processes and provide relevant inputs where required.
- Support clarification of process-related requirements and customer expectations.
Engagement Terms
- Contract Duration: 2–3 months
- Daily Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per day
- Flexibility:
Working hours may vary on a few days around the client presentation.
- Work Location: Remote
- Client Presentation Travel: The consultant may be required to travel during the client presentation.
- Travel Expenses: Any approved travel will be billed/reimbursed on actuals .
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in Marine Crewing / Ship Management / Maritime Operations .
- Hands-on knowledge of end-to-end marine crewing processes.
- Experience with seafarer recruitment, crew planning, crew changes, onboarding/offboarding, documentation, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of marine crewing workflows and industry practices.
- Ability to document and explain operational processes clearly.
- Solid stakeholder communication and customer-facing skills.
- Prior experience supporting process consulting, advisory, or customer-facing engagements is preferred.
- Experience with organizations such as Synergy Marine Group, Kamaxi Overseas Consultants , or similar marine/crewing organizations will be considered relevant.
