About InnerSpace

InnerSpace is one of Kerala’s earliest coworking brands and one of the few community-centric coworking brands in the state.

We believe that a workspace is more than desks and meeting rooms. It is about people, conversations, ideas and the community around it.

As we launch our new centre in Ramanattukara, we want to tell the story of Kozhikode's people, culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

And that's where you come in.

About the Role

We're looking for a curious storyteller who is fascinated by people, places, businesses and culture.

Someone who can walk through Kozhikode, meet an interesting person, hear their story and think:

“This should be a video.”

You will help us discover and document the people, businesses, culture and entrepreneurial energy of Kozhikode and turn those stories into engaging content.

What You'll Work On

- Discover interesting entrepreneurs, businesses, creators and personalities in Kozhikode
- Research stories around Kozhikode's business and cultural heritage
- Develop ideas for Instagram Reels, short videos and interviews
- Assist in shooting videos, photographs and interviews
- Document the launch journey of InnerSpace Ramanattukara
- Create content around local culture, food, businesses and entrepreneurship
- Build relationships with local creators, entrepreneurs and communities
- Assist in producing community events and activations
- Cover InnerSpace events and activities
- Develop storytelling concepts for campaigns
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to turn stories into campaigns
- Help build recurring content series around Kozhikode and its people
- Contribute ideas for unconventional marketing campaigns

“Why does Calicut have such a strong business culture?”

“How did a small family business become a global company?”

“What makes Kozhikode entrepreneurs different?”

“What happens when a Gulf-returned entrepreneur starts a business in Kerala?”

“What does the next generation of Calicut businesses look like?”

You don't need to have all the answers.

You need to be curious enough to go find them.

Who We're Looking For

- Students or recent graduates in Media, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Design or related fields
- Strong interest in storytelling and content creation
- Someone who enjoys meeting and talking to people
- Good understanding of Instagram and short-form video
- Comfortable appearing behind or in front of the camera
- Basic photography/videography skills
- Basic knowledge of video editing is a plus
- Good Malayalam and English communication skills
- Strong knowledge or curiosity about Kozhikode and its culture
- Creative, observant and proactive
- Willing to step outside the office and explore

You don't need expensive equipment or years of experience. A good phone, curiosity and a positive eye for stories are more important.

Storytelling, Content Creation, Community Building, Brand Marketing, Event Marketing, Interviewing, Campaign Development, Local Marketing and lots of networking opportunites.

You'll also build a portfolio of real campaigns, interviews and original content rather than just internship assignments.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
