Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Manager role based in Odisha having hands on experience in MIVAN work, India.

The Construction

Manager will oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring that work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include supervising site teams and contractors, coordinating with consultants, engineers, and client representatives, and monitoring progress against project plans. The role involves managing budgets and resources, tracking project controls (including schedules, costs, and risks),



and preparing regular reports and documentation.

The Construction

Manager will also ensure compliance with local regulations and construction safety requirements, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Construction and Construction Safety skills to manage on-site activities and ensure protected work practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, coordinate stakeholders, and oversee contractors effectively.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and Project Control skills to manage costs, schedules, resource allocation, and project documentation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree in construction management or infrastructure engineering is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar leadership role on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, highways, or related sectors).
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable in Odisha and across India.
- Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD) and strong reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
