Role Description This is a full-time Computer Vision Engineer role based in Maharashtra, India, with a hybrid work model that allows some work from home.

The Computer Vision

Engineer will design, develop, and optimize vision algorithms for product detection, tracking, and interaction within vending systems. Daily responsibilities include building and evaluating models for pattern recognition, integrating computer vision modules with embedded hardware and robotics components, and collaborating with software, IoT, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions. The role involves data collection and preprocessing,



experimentation with new architectures and techniques, performance tuning for real-time deployment, and documentation of models and pipelines. The engineer will also contribute to system troubleshooting, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the overall intelligent vending platform.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, including algorithms, data structures, and applied machine learning.
- Hands-on skills in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition for tasks such as detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking.
- Experience working with Robotics or automated systems, integrating perception modules with hardware and control software.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in vision and ML (such as Python and C++), and familiarity with frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Ability to analyze and optimize real-time systems, including performance profiling and deployment on edge or embedded devices.
- Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams, with clear communication, version control experience (e.g., Git), and good documentation practices.
- Experience in IoT, embedded systems, or retail automation is an advantage, as is prior work with 3D vision, sensor fusion, or cloud-based ML deployment.
