Roles & Responsibilities

1. In-charge of all activities related to Civil, Architectural, Structural, Landscaping, Plumbing, Interior works, External development as per finalized design & drawings.

4. Authorized signatory for all documents related to civil site works.
5. Authorized signatory for the contractor’s bills, material requirements, etc.
6. Shall be Authorized Signatory authority in absence of Project GM & Project DGM.
7. Responsible for all civil related

construction projects including, site organization, document organization, safety, quality control, contract management and budgetary management.
1. Implementation of Quality Management System, associated tools, processes and procedures to ensure site activities are appropriately controlled and monitored for the satisfactory progression of the projects and in accordance with standards.
2. Lead Site Kick-off & Review meetings with all vendors including site safety meetings.
3. Daily and Weekly Meeting with Civil Contractors to review Daily and Weekly Progress at site
4. Review, comment and Approval on GFC drawings / specifications and any other documents that may required for the project and advise to Senior Civil Engineer to issue contractor.
5. Review, comment and Approval of Change Control
6. Review and Approval of Minutes of Meeting and circulate to all concern.
7. Internal Auditor for civil department.
8. Single Point of Contact of civil department.
9. Responsible for any queries arising from the audit teams (from quality, safety and other auditors) and shall ensure completion of the audit points.

Directly manage their project team (s) to ensure quality management outcomes in pre-

1. Responsible for ensuring the resourcing levels on their project(s) is appropriate in terms of numbers and skill level of employees. Overall management of their team(s) including the recruitment, mentoring, performance management and support of team members.
2. Planning, scheduling and overall civil budgetary responsibility for the project(s) they are responsible for, ensuring that civil related activities remain on time schedule and within budget.
3. Client liaison to ensure that needs is being met and a good relationship is maintained at all times.
4. Ensure at all times positive communication channels are maintained between the project team, contractors and clients.
5. Resolving site vendor conflicts.
6. Check and approve rate analysis, comparison quotes, provide technical recommendation for misc items ordered during the Project progress
7. Issue NCR and timely closure of defects rectification. Generate all quality reports as necessary internal and external.
8. Technically assist AIDB in preparation of snag list.
9. Assist in creating a Standard operating procedure (SOP) for the operation and maintenance of the new facility and its equipment.
10. To inspect and suggest remedial measures for any defects arising in the post

construction period.
1. Ensure issuance of structural stability certificate and building occupancy certificates as may be required by authority norms during

construction and after completion of defects liability period.
1. Issue Design certification and validation as required by any authority and AIDB.
