Position: Regulatory / Compliance Counsel Senior Expert

Type: Short-Term Contract (9 Weeks)

Compensation: $26/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Up to 40 hours/week with 4 hours overlap with PST

Role Responsibilities

- Create and evaluate high-difficulty regulatory and compliance tasks.
- Develop scenarios covering regulatory interpretation, compliance programs, risk assessments, policies, controls, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Review AI-generated outputs for legal and regulatory accuracy.
- Assess regulatory risks and evaluate how requirements translate into practical business guidance.
- Review and calibrate team outputs and provide expert feedback.
- Escalate complex cases and rubric-related issues when required.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in regulatory law, compliance, risk management, or related legal advisory roles.
- JD, law degree,



or equivalent qualification, preferably with regulatory/compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and internal policies.
- Experience designing, implementing, and improving compliance programs, policies, controls, monitoring, risk assessments, training, and regulatory reporting.
- Solid legal judgment and ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance.
- Strong analytical, written communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
