About the Role

SkillPlace Academy is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Trainer to provide practical, industry-oriented training to diploma and engineering students. The trainer will be responsible for teaching civil engineering design and drafting software through real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Train students in AutoCAD 2D & 3D for civil engineering drawings.
- Teach STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design fundamentals.
- Train students in Revit Architecture and BIM-based workflows.
- Teach SketchUp for 3D modelling and architectural visualization.
- Conduct practical, project-based training using real-world examples.
- Prepare assignments, projects, assessments and training materials.
- Monitor student performance and provide technical guidance.
- Help students prepare for technical interviews and placements.
- Maintain a skilled and practical learning environment.

- Basic knowledge of structural and building design
- Practical project experience
- Good communication and presentation skills

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 15 years of relevant industry, teaching or training experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of the above-mentioned software.
- Candidates with industry project experience will be preferred.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Focus Areas AutoCAD: 2D drafting, plans, elevations, sections, layouts and 3D modelling.

STAAD.Pro: Structural modelling, loading, analysis, design basics and interpretation of results.

Revit: Architectural modelling, floor plans, elevations, sections, families, sheets and BIM workflow.

SketchUp: 3D building modelling, architectural visualization, materials and presentation.
