We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with/ without experience in both civil construction and structural fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project requirements, and supporting the bid and proposal process to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates. Prepare quantity take-offs for civil and structural works including earthworks, concrete works, steel structures, and architectural elements. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget.

Develop detailed cost breakdowns, resource requirements, and man-hour estimates for all stages of construction and fabrication. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to collect data and clarify technical requirements. Participate in bid review meetings, clarifying scope, methods, and risks with the management team.

Identify and quantify potential cost risks and suggest value engineering solutions to optimize costs. Update and maintain a database of unit costs, labor rates, material costs, and historical project data. Assist in preparing tender documentation, pricing summaries, and technical submissions.

Monitor project costs during execution phases, comparing with estimates to improve future accuracy.



Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and technological advancements relevant to civil and structural projects. Support contract negotiations and client discussions by providing technical and cost-related inputs.

Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in estimation, preferably in civil construction and structural steel fabrication. Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural steel fabrication processes, and site practices.

Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel) and AutoCAD or other relevant drafting tools. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good understanding of contract terms, procurement practices, and project scheduling.

Preferred: Experience with large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of international codes and standards.
