Rarefiction Media is looking for a highly skilled Cinematographer & Video Editor with a strong commercial portfolio and a sharp eye for cinematic visuals, fast-paced editing, and premium brand storytelling.

This role is for someone who doesn't just know how to shoot and edit — you know how to make a brand look expensive.

THE KIND OF WORK YOU'LL CREATE

You could be shooting and editing:

- Automotive Films — BMW, MINI Cooper, luxury & performance cars
- Sports Content — high-energy action, athletes, leagues & events
- F&B; Commercials — food, restaurants, cafés & lifestyle brands
- Brand Films & Advertisements
- High-Impact Reels & Social Media Campaigns
- Product & Lifestyle Films
- Fast-Cut Commercial Content

From a cinematic automotive sequence to a 15-second high-retention Reel — every frame needs to have purpose.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES CINEMATOGRAPHY

- Plan and execute professional commercial shoots
- Operate cinema cameras, mirrorless cameras, gimbals and other production equipment
- Build creative camera movements and cinematic compositions
- Understand lighting, lenses, exposure, framing and depth
- Shoot dynamic automotive, sports, food and lifestyle content
- Work confidently in both controlled studio environments and real-world locations
- Translate creative concepts and storyboards into compelling visuals

VIDEO EDITING
- Edit high-end commercial films, Reels and advertisements
- Create rapid-paced, beat-driven edits with strong visual rhythm




- Build cinematic sequences with strong storytelling and pacing
- Handle speed ramps, transitions, match cuts and dynamic camera movements
- Sync visuals with music, sound effects and dialogue
- Perform professional color correction and color grading
- Create polished social-first content optimized for retention
- Deliver multiple aspect ratios and versions for different platforms

SOFTWARE

Strong proficiency required in:

- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Premiere Pro

Good to have:

- After Effects
- Photoshop
- Motion graphics
- Advanced sound design

WE WANT TO SEE A STRONG PORTFOLIO Portfolio is the most important part of this role.

Your showreel should demonstrate that you can handle different visual languages and editing styles.
