Chief Manager - MIS & Automation (FP&A;)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and technically strong Chief Manager - MIS & Automation to lead the digital transformation and automation initiatives within the FP&A; function. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable MIS, reporting, analytics, and automation solutions that enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong software development expertise combined with an interest in solving complex business problems within the finance and planning domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive automation of FP&A;, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Design and build scalable applications, dashboards, and workflow automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, APIs, and reporting systems.
- Partner with Finance, FP&A;, Business, and Technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Enhance reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making through automation and analytics.
- Develop and maintain management dashboards, KPI reporting frameworks, and analytical tools.
- Ensure data integrity, system performance, security, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement across FP&A; activities.
- Support digital transformation initiatives through the adoption of modern technologies and best practices.

Qualification




- BE / B.Tech / Any Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for building scalable software solutions and learning new technologies.

Experience & Skills
- 2-5 years of software development experience with exposure to automation and analytics solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and React.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational or analytical databases (PostgreSQL / ClickHouse preferred).
- Good understanding of REST APIs, Git, and software development best practices.
- Proven ability to understand complex business requirements and build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
- Willingness to work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) function.
- Exposure to FP&A;, Finance, Accounting, MIS, Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, or Enterprise Planning Systems will be an added advantage.
- Experience in dashboarding and visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau is desirable.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
