About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the overall operational and commercial execution of a premium, celebrity-led saree brand.

The COO will be the operational backbone of the business, responsible for translating the brand vision into a highly structured, scalable and profitable organisation. The role will oversee teams, processes, product operations, supply chain, inventory, production, e-commerce operations, financial performance and overall execution.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building and scaling consumer-facing businesses, preferably within fashion, apparel, D2C, lifestyle or premium consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the company's overall operations and execution.
- Translate business vision and strategy into clear operational plans and measurable objectives.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams across merchandising, production, e-commerce, marketing, finance, supply chain and operations.
- Build scalable systems, SOPs, reporting structures and performance-management mechanisms.
- Oversee end-to-end product operations, including sourcing, production, inventory, warehousing and fulfilment.
- Drive operational efficiency, profitability and cost optimisation.
- Work closely with the merchandising and production teams to ensure collections are delivered within timelines and quality standards.
- Oversee inventory planning and ensure optimal stock availability without excessive working capital.




- Work closely with the e-commerce and marketing teams to align product availability with campaigns, launches and demand.
- Monitor P&L;, budgets, margins, working capital and overall business performance.
- Build and manage relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, logistics partners and other key vendors.
- Establish KPIs and ensure accountability across departments.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with senior leadership on business expansion, new categories, launches and growth initiatives.
- Ensure the brand maintains a premium customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Lead crisis management and ensure business continuity during high-demand periods or operational challenges.

Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of experience in senior operations/business leadership roles.
- Solid experience in D2C, fashion, apparel, lifestyle, luxury, retail or consumer brands.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments and large cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, inventory, supply chain, production and business operations.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling a business or brand.
- MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven approach.
- Experience working with founders, public figures, premium brands or high-visibility businesses will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
