Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee the company's finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance, financial analysis, budgeting, and internal controls, preferably with experience in the logistics or transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, freight income, transportation expenses, fuel costs, vendor payments, and other logistics-related expenses.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, customer collections, vendor balances, and ageing reports.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, e-invoicing, e-way bill-related matters, and input tax credit reconciliation.
- Manage TDS, income tax, advance tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, internal auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Prepare MIS reports, profitability analysis, cash-flow statements, and management reports.
- Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning.
- Analyze route-wise, branch-wise, customer-wise, or business-unit-wise profitability.
- Monitor and control operational costs such as fuel, tolls,



vehicle maintenance, freight charges, and manpower expenses.
- Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of customer advances, vendor advances, deposits, and inter-branch transactions.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Identify financial risks, discrepancies, leakages, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support management in financial decision-making and business expansion.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, GST, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead and supervise the accounts/finance team as required.

Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) ICAI qualified.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards / Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet statutory and management deadlines.
