About the Role

We are looking for a technically solid and hands-on CCTV / Home Automation / Networking Technician or Engineer to join our team.

The role involves installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of CCTV, networking and home/building automation systems at residential, commercial and other project sites.

The position is suitable for professionals who enjoy field work, technology, problem-solving and interacting directly with customers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, configuration and commissioning of CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog systems.
- Installation and configuration of network switches, routers, Wi-Fi systems, structured cabling and related networking equipment.
- Installation and programming of home automation and smart home systems.
- Installation and configuration of devices such as sensors, smart switches, controllers, gateways and automation panels.
- Testing and troubleshooting of CCTV, networking and automation systems.
- Basic understanding of IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs, PoE, LAN/WAN and network troubleshooting.
- Camera positioning, focusing, recording configuration and remote viewing setup.
- Troubleshooting connectivity, device communication and software/configuration issues.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and breakdown service for existing installations.
- Conducting site surveys and assisting in technical requirement identification.
- Reading basic wiring diagrams, network layouts and system drawings.
- Coordinating with customers, vendors, project engineers and other site teams.
- Maintaining proper installation, testing, service and commissioning documentation.
- Ensuring that installations comply with company quality and safety standards.
- Supporting the team in testing and implementing new technologies and products.

Technical Skills Candidates should have practical knowledge of some or most of the following:

- Gate and curtain automation
- Home automation controllers and gateways
- Mobile-app and remote-control configuration
- Basic understanding of IoT systems

Candidate Profile
- 2–20 years of relevant experience in CCTV, ELV, networking, home automation, electrical/electronic systems or related fields.
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, IT or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong practical and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working at project and customer sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to project and service locations.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in multiple ELV technologies will be preferred.
