About the Role

We are seeking passionate, energetic, and empathetic educators to join us as Career Counselors & Student Mentors for government schools in Punjab. In this role, you will physically visit assigned schools to guide, mentor, and inspire youth. You will help students explore academic streams, vocational opportunities, and future career paths.

We are actively hiring candidates residing in or near the following districts:

Locations: 23 Districts

1. Jalandhar Division: Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Tarn Taran
2. Patiala Division: Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana, Malerkotla, Patiala, Rupnagar, Sangrur
3. Firozpur Division: Fazilka, Firozpur, Moga, Sri Muktsar Sahib
4. Faridkot Division: Bathinda, Faridkot, Mansa
5. Rupnagar Division: Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar), Rupnagar

Each selected counselor will be assigned a cluster of 4 to 5 local government schools within their designated district

Key Responsibilities

- In-Person Counseling: Visit assigned government schools daily to conduct group workshops and one-on-one career counseling sessions for secondary and higher secondary students.
- Stream & Career Guidance: Help students understand educational pathways after Class 10 and 12, focusing on Science, Commerce, Arts, vocational courses, and ITIs.
- Holistic Mentorship: Observe students to identify their strengths, encourage them to pursue hobbies, and motivate them to participate in extra-curricular activities.
- Community & School Liaison:



Coordinate closely with school principals, teachers, and parents to build a supportive ecosystem for the students.
- Data Reporting: Maintain organized records of student interactions, feedback, and progress using your personal laptop and digital reporting tools.

Eligibility Criteria

- Education: B.Ed qualification is highly preferred. Graduates/Postgraduates with a strong background in teaching, psychology, or social work will also be considered.
- Language Fluency: Must be fully fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with students, rural parents, and school authorities.
- Local Commuting: Must be ready and willing to travel daily to assigned schools within the district. Having personal transport (two-wheeler or four-wheeler) is a strong advantage.
- Tech Readiness: Must own a working personal laptop for daily data logging, report submissions, and virtual coordination meetings.
- Core Attributes: Deeply passionate about youth development, highly empathetic, and capable of managing physical classroom environments effectively.
