Job Role: CAD Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA.

- Translate concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate technical drawings.

- Perform assembly checks and clash detection to identify and resolve design issues.

- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards such as ASME and ISO.

- Conduct basic tolerance analysis and optimize designs for manufacturability.

- Prepare and maintain design documentation and engineering drawings.

- Create and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials).

- Support prototyping and manufacturing activities by providing required drawings and revisions.

- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design requirements are met.

- Review designs for accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree / Post Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design,



or a related field.

- 2–5 years of qualified experience as a CAD Engineer or Designer.

- Strong proficiency in one or more CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA.

- Strong understanding of engineering principles and GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

- Good knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in industries such as automotive, FMCG, consumer electronics, or manufacturing.

- Certification in CAD software or a related field.

- Experience with product development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
