Someone buys a car worth a crore and a half. The salesperson hands over the key, they shake hands, a phone comes out for a photo, and the car rolls off the floor. Those five minutes are the most emotional part of the entire sale. Almost every showroom in India lets them pass with a bouquet and a cake.

Raiz makes what should be in the buyer's hands instead. A pair of driving gloves crafted in full-grain leather, numbered, built to outlast the car they are driven in.

Your job is to connect with the showrooms that sell those cars and convince them to own that moment.

ABOUT RAIZ

Raiz is a premium leather goods brand founded in Kolkata in 2021. Our driving gloves live in the cars of collectors, drivers, and a few names you would recognise. Every pair is crafted in full-grain leather and numbered. You can see the work at www.raiz.shop before you write in.

We are now taking the brand into premium and luxury automotive showrooms as a handover gift for new car buyers. This programme is new. The first dealerships in the country to run it will be opened by you and one other person.

THE ROLE

You open the dealership channel for Raiz. That means building the list of premium and luxury dealerships across India, running first contact by phone, pitching the handover programme on a video call or at the showroom, booking qualified meetings for the Founder's Office, and keeping the lead tracker current. You will also tell the core team what is landing in the pitch and what needs to change.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build the list. Find premium and luxury car dealerships across India. Instagram, LinkedIn, ChatGPT, and Google are all fair game. Pull the showroom address, the phone number, and the name of the person who actually decides, usually the Sales Manager, General Manager, or the dealer principal.

Get them on the phone. Most of this job happens over a call. You will be dialling showrooms in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata, and getting past the receptionist to the person in charge.

Walk in where you can.



Kolkata showrooms can be visited in person. Some of the best conversations will start that way.

Pitch the handover programme. Some dealerships will want a video call, some will want you on the floor. Either way, you will have the deck, the script, and a sample pair in your hands. What you bring is the conviction.

Follow up until they say yes. Almost nobody says yes on the first call. The interns who do well here are the ones who are still politely present on the fourth.

Hand off the close. When a dealership is warm and ready, you book the meeting for the Founder's Office and sit in on it.

Keep the tracker clean. Every dealership, every conversation, every next step, current without being chased.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are comfortable on the phone with someone twenty years your senior, and comfortable walking into a showroom full of cars you cannot yet afford and asking for the person in charge.

- You are fluent in English and Hindi. Bengali is a big plus.
- You are well spoken and well presented. Luxury showrooms have a certain feel. You should fit in.
- You are organised. You can hold several conversations open at once and keep a spreadsheet or a simple CRM current without being chased.
- You write a clean, professional email and are confident face to face.
- You take ownership. You can work on your own for a week and still arrive with something to report.
- You are curious about cars, luxury, or fashion.
- You have an eye for premium brands and a basic sense of how positioning works.
- You are comfortable using cabs for field visits.

Prior work in sales, hospitality, real estate, or luxury retail helps.



Basic Canva or Google Slides helps when a deck is needed quickly.

WHAT YOU GET

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is an unpaid, performance-based internship. You earn when a dealership orders. No fixed stipend arrives whether or not showrooms say yes.
