About the Role

Arix EnergiX Limited is looking for a Business Analyst – Solutions & Proposals who can understand complex business requirements, institutional opportunities and software systems—and convert them into clear, accurate and well-structured documentation.

This is not a graphic design role, sales role or routine tender-uploading position.

The person will work internally to analyse opportunities from UNGM, government organisations, public-sector institutions and enterprise customers. They will prepare opportunity assessments, solution documents, process flows, technical proposal drafts and presentation storylines for further validation by our techno-commercial and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate should be capable of reading a detailed RFP or Terms of Reference, identifying what the client actually requires, mapping those requirements to a proposed solution and preparing a structured first draft without needing every point to be dictated.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity and RFP Analysis

- Review opportunities published through UNGM, government portals and institutional procurement platforms
- Analyse RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, TORs and other solicitation documents
- Extract eligibility requirements, scope, deliverables, timelines and evaluation criteria
- Prepare concise opportunity summaries and preliminary bid/no-bid assessments
- Identify qualification gaps, dependencies, required partnerships and submission risks
- Prepare compliance matrices, responsibility trackers and document checklists
- Highlight ambiguities and prepare clarification questions for internal review

Solution Analysis and Documentation

- Understand proposed software platforms, modules, user roles, operational workflows and integrations
- Map tender requirements against available and proposed solution capabilities
- Differentiate between standard capabilities, configuration requirements, custom development and third-party dependencies
- Prepare structured drafts of:
- technical proposals
- concept notes
- solution approaches
- scope-of-work documents
- functional requirement documents
- process and user flows
- operating models
- implementation methodologies
- work plans and deliverables
- assumptions, exclusions and dependencies
- architecture and integration briefs




- Coordinate with product, technical, domain and techno-commercial teams to validate the documentation

Presentation Content Preparation

- Convert complex solutions into logical presentation storylines
- Define the purpose, key message and content structure for each slide
- Prepare process flows, operating models, architecture concepts and dashboard narratives
- Adapt the presentation content for different audiences, including government officials, UN evaluators, enterprise leadership and technical committees
- Prepare clear briefs that a graphic designer can convert into professionally designed slides or infographics
- Review completed presentations for content accuracy, continuity and alignment with the proposed solution

AI-Assisted Research and Drafting

- Use ChatGPT and similar AI tools to accelerate research, analysis and documentation
- Create effective prompts and progressively improve generated drafts
- Verify facts, remove unsupported claims and prevent inaccurate or generic AI-generated content
- Maintain consistency in terminology, scope and commitments across proposals and presentations
- Build reusable templates, solution descriptions, reference material and organisational credentials

Required Skills

- Strong analytical and structured-thinking ability
- Ability to understand software systems and operational processes
- Solid written business English
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, proposals, concept notes or solution documentation
- Ability to create process flows, use cases and structured requirement mappings
- Ability to interpret lengthy RFPs and Terms of Reference
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Practical experience using ChatGPT or similar generative AI tools
- High attention to detail, version control and documentation accuracy




- Ability to work across multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to independently identify missing information and ask the right questions

Preferred ExperienceAny combination of the following would be valuable:

- Business analysis for enterprise software, SaaS, ERP, e-governance or digital transformation projects
- Technical proposal or presales documentation
- Government, PSU, UN agency or international development-sector proposals
- RFP, RFQ, EOI or tender-response preparation
- AI, IoT, mobile applications, dashboards, workflow platforms or system-integration projects
- Bid documentation for technology or consulting assignments

Prior UNGM experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with strong government or institutional RFP experience and the ability to understand software solutions may also apply. Education

- B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MBA or an equivalent qualification
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds may be considered if they demonstrate strong system understanding and proposal-documentation experience

- Independent approval of technical or contractual commitments
