What we are building
Onified.ai is building an Enterprise Resource Intelligence (ERI) platform for manufacturers, bringing enterprise applications, Industry 4.0 and AI together into one connected system.
We are building 50+ integrated applications across transportation, procurement, warehousing, maintenance, energy, quality, traceability, accounting, HR, service, field operations, analytics and more.
Why this role matters here
AI is making software faster to design and build. But faster development doesn’t solve the harder question, What should the software actually do?
Before a business process becomes an application, someone needs to understand how the work happens, who does what, what decisions are made, what rules apply, what data is needed, what can go wrong and what should happen next.
That’s where you come in.
What you will do
- Understand real business processes and translate them into clear functional requirements
- Map workflows, user journeys, business rules, decisions, exceptions and edge cases
- Think through how an application should actually work for different users
- Review existing ERP and enterprise applications and identify gaps or better ways of working
- Work with product, UX, engineering and AI teams from requirement through release
- Identify opportunities where AI, automation or better data can improve a process
- Understand how processes and data connect across different Onified applications
- Participate in customer and domain-expert discussions as you grow into the role
Must have
- 0-3 years of professional experience; strong freshers with relevant internships or substantial projects are welcome
- Strong analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to understand a process and break it into steps, decisions, rules and exceptions
- Good written and verbal communication
- Genuine curiosity about how businesses and software systems work
- Comfort using and learning contemporary AI tools
- Based in Gurugram or willing to relocate; this is a five-day on-site role
Good to have, genuinely optional
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, WMS, HRMS or other enterprise applications, including experience as a business user
- Experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, product, implementation or process improvement
- Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, finance, HR or service operations
- Experience creating process flows, user stories, functional specifications or requirements
- Basic familiarity with APIs, databases or SQL
Being honest about the stage
We are early. You won’t inherit a finished product organization where your job is simply to maintain requirements someone else has already defined.
You will work directly with the people shaping the products, understand problems from the ground up and help decide how applications should work.
That means more ambiguity and responsibility, but also exposure across business functions that would normally take years to accumulate.
As the platform and team grow, this role can develop toward product management, functional consulting, solution consulting, implementation or business analysis leadership, depending on where you are strongest.
How we hire
CV screen, followed by a conversation about how you think about businesses and systems, then a short practical exercise around a real business process, followed by a final discussion with the team.
We are not looking for someone who already knows everything. We’re looking for someone who can understand, structure, question and learn.
