Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Cuttack.

The Branch

Manager is responsible for leading branch operations, including planning and achieving sales targets for health insurance products, overseeing customer acquisition and retention, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The role includes managing and mentoring the branch team, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to grow the branch portfolio in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Manager will handle key customer relationships,



resolve escalated issues, coordinate with regional and corporate teams, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal processes. Day-to-day activities involve reviewing branch performance metrics, conducting team meetings, driving local marketing initiatives, and maintaining operational efficiency and discipline.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in branch operations management, team leadership, and performance monitoring, preferably within insurance or financial services.
- Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship management abilities, with experience in achieving and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in planning, reporting, and basic financial analysis, including understanding of insurance products and market dynamics.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle escalations and support diverse customers.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or policy administration systems to manage workflows, data, and customer service processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role in insurance, banking, or related sectors, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in office in Cuttack, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
