Role Overview

We are looking for a Branch Audit & File Audit Executive responsible for conducting branch-level audits and detailed file audits to ensure adherence to company policies, processes, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Audit

- Conduct periodic audits of branches as per the approved audit plan.

- Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs, processes, and internal controls.

- Review branch cash handling, documentation, records, registers, and operational processes.

- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, irregularities, and potential risks.

- Verify branch-level transactions and supporting documents.

- Discuss audit observations with branch personnel and obtain appropriate explanations/evidence.

- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks, and corrective actions.

- Follow up on closure of audit observations and ensure timely corrective action.

File Audit

- Conduct detailed audit disbursed files and supporting documentation.

- Verify completeness, accuracy, authenticity, and validity of documents.

- Check adherence to prescribed approval and documentation processes.

- Identify missing documents, discrepancies, exceptions, deviations, and potential red flags.





- Cross-check information across applications, documents, systems, and supporting records.

- Ensure files comply with applicable internal policies and guidelines.

- Maintain proper audit working papers and evidence for all observations.

- Escalate significant irregularities or suspected fraud/risk issues to the appropriate authority.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline; B.Com/M.Com/MBA will be an advantage.

- 5 years of experience in branch audit, file audit and operations audit, banking/NBFC/financial services, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of audit processes, documentation, and internal controls.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High level of attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.

- Willingness to travel extensively and work in a mobile/field-based role.

- Comfortable working independently across multiple branches/locations.

Language Proficiency The candidate must be proficient in all four languages:

- English

- Hindi

- Telugu

- Tamil

Valuable verbal and written communication in English is essential, with strong ability to communicate with branch teams and local stakeholders in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
