Role Description The Botany Faculty will deliver engaging, concept-driven teaching for NEET aspirants, with a focus on Botany topics aligned to the NEET syllabus. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, creating and updating lecture notes, slides, and question banks, and conducting regular classes, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision modules. The faculty member will design and review practice tests, analyze student performance, and provide feedback to help learners improve their scores.
The role also involves collaborating with other subject experts to maintain academic quality,
participating in content development for digital and print materials, and staying updated with changes in NEET patterns and Botany curricula. This is a full time, on-site position located in the Greater Kolkata Area.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Botany or Biological Sciences (Master’s degree or higher preferred), with thorough knowledge of NEET-level Botany concepts.
- Proven teaching or coaching experience for NEET or similar competitive exams, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, student-friendly manner.
- Skill in academic content development, including preparing lecture notes, practice questions, tests, and explanatory solutions.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools (smart classroom aids, online platforms, presentations) and adapt teaching style for both classroom and recorded sessions.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a learner-centric, inclusive approach.
- Strong analytical skills to track student performance, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted improvement strategies.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, with flexibility to handle exam-season schedules and extra sessions when required.
- Prior experience in an ed-tech or coaching institute environment is an advantage; familiarity with latest NEET trends and question patterns is highly beneficial.
