ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to support a fast-growing U.S. food manufacturing company.

You’ll own day-to-day bookkeeping across accounts payable, vendor statement reconciliation, account reconciliations, and inventory-related bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.

This role goes well beyond data entry. When numbers don’t make sense, you’re expected to notice, investigate the cause, and resolve the issue — whether that means finding a duplicate bill, reconciling a vendor discrepancy, or figuring out why inventory numbers are off.

The company is growing quickly and some processes are still being built, so we need someone comfortable working independently, solving problems, and taking ownership without waiting for step-by-step instructions.

This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in India, working U.S. business hours.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Own day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Manage accounts payable, including entering bills from multiple sources and scheduling vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements against internal records and resolve discrepancies
- Perform account reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
- Handle inventory-related bookkeeping entries and calculations
- Perform inventory unit conversions, including pounds to kilograms
- Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and resolve issues independently
- Catch missing or duplicate bills and follow each issue through completion
- Apply 3-way matching and similar accounts-payable controls




- Maintain accurate records as the company continues to build and improve its processes
- Explain findings clearly to the U.S.-based client by email and on calls

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience
- Accounts payable experience, including bill entry and payment scheduling
- Vendor statement reconciliation experience
- Strong account reconciliation skills
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and determine the root cause
- Experience with inventory-related bookkeeping and calculations
- Comfort working with inventory unit conversions
- Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive ownership mindset — this role requires much more than simply entering transactions

NICE TO HAVE

- Inventory accounting or inventory-related bookkeeping experience
- Experience with 3-way matching or similar AP controls
- NetSuite or other ERP/accounting system experience
- Experience supporting U.S.-based businesses or clients
- Strong vendor reconciliation and discrepancy-resolution experience
