Role Description The BMS Technical Support role is a full-time hybrid position based in Chennai, with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the team member provides technical support for BMS and related automation systems, assisting clients and internal teams with issue resolution and system optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting BMS hardware and software issues, responding to support tickets, and guiding users through solutions.

The role involves collaborating with engineering and project teams, documenting technical findings, and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes.



The individual is expected to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication, timely follow-up, and professional service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, particularly related to BMS, BAS, or building automation systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret system data, identify root causes, and propose effective technical solutions.
- Candidates should possess Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills to manage inquiries, provide clear guidance, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Candidates should possess good written and verbal communication skills to document issues, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience with HMI/SCADA, IoT, or Industry 4.0 technologies in building automation environments is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, instrumentation, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage priorities, and handle multiple support requests concurrently.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE or similar industry standards is an advantage.
