Role Description The Billing RCM Trainer (Physician & Hospital Billing) is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for designing and delivering training programs on end-to-end RCM workflows, including patient registration, charge entry, coding, billing, payment posting, AR follow-up, and denials management for physician practices and hospitals.

The trainer conducts classroom and floor-based coaching, develops training materials and SOPs, evaluates trainee performance, and provides ongoing refresher sessions to keep teams current with payer guidelines and regulatory changes. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with operations leaders to identify skill gaps, standardizing best practices,



supporting new-hire onboarding, and ensuring that billing teams meet quality, productivity, and compliance targets.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in U.S. Physician and Hospital Billing, including RCM processes, AR management, denials resolution, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS), charge capture, and documentation requirements; exposure to risk adjustment/HCC coding is an advantage.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering training content, including presentations, process documents, workflows, and assessments for billing and RCM teams.
- Familiarity with practice management systems, billing software, clearinghouses, and reporting tools used in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to train diverse teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process gaps, interpret data, and recommend improvements for quality and compliance.
- Prior experience in a training, team lead, or quality role within U.S. healthcare RCM/BPO environment is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; certification in medical billing/coding or healthcare management is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in office in Chennai and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership.
