Alphabin is a software engineering studio building scalable QA, automation, and AI-powered platforms for global engineering teams. We focus on building reliable infrastructure, modern developer tools, and cloud-native systems used in production every day.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help us scale and operate our internal backend platform running on Azure cloud infrastructure.

Why This Role

Our backend infrastructure is growing rapidly, and we are looking for someone who can take ownership of production systems, backend APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure alongside our backend lead.

You will work on real production services, reliability improvements, and scalable backend architecture in a fast-moving engineering environment.

What You'll Work On

- Azure Container Apps for Node.js and Go services across staging and production environments
- Real-time ingestion pipelines using Event Hub (Kafka protocol)
- Billing and subscription systems including payment gateway integration, plans, invoicing, and webhooks
- Integration services for GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Jira, Linear, and other platforms
- CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with OIDC authentication
- Database management using PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, and MongoDB Atlas
- Monitoring, observability, scaling, and infrastructure cost optimization
- Production incident handling and rollback management

Requirements





- 2–5+ years of experience building and managing backend services in production
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including Container Apps, ACR, Event Hub, and OIDC federation
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with PostgreSQL or TimescaleDB
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments
- Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and communicate effectively

Nice to Have

- Experience with Go language
- Knowledge of Kafka or Event Hub at scale
- Experience with Stripe or billing integrations
- Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas
- Experience handling scalability, reliability, and infrastructure optimization
