We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Developer to join our Connected Vehicle Platform team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cloud-native backend services that power connected vehicle features and telematics solutions. The role involves developing scalable microservices, REST APIs, and integrations with vehicle systems, mobile applications, and third-party services deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for connected vehicle applications.
- Implement business logic for telematics and connected vehicle features .
- Develop integrations with OEM systems, mobile applications, and third‑party services .
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries .
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.
- Create unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.




- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions .
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues .
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers .
- Support deployment and release activities across development and production environments.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical documentation .

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Java 11/17+
- Solid experience in Spring Boot
- Hands‑on with Microservices Architecture
- Skilled in developing REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
- Proficient with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of MongoDB / NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, event‑driven architectures
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in Git and branching strategies
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
