About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Azure Data Platform Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Azure data platform administration, infrastructure automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, CI/CD, containerization, and disaster recovery .

The role requires strong hands-on experience managing enterprise Azure environments across Development, Testing, Pre-Production, and Production.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and manage Azure Data Engineering and cloud platform services.
- Manage Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, APIM, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and App Services .
- Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using ARM Templates and Terraform (IaC) .
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) .
- Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, failover, and high-availability strategies.
- Manage Azure environments across Development, Testing, Pre-Production, and Production.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data processing and job workflows.
- Troubleshoot failed Databricks and Azure Data Factory jobs , perform RCA, and implement corrective actions.




- Manage distributed streaming platforms, particularly Azure Event Hub .
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Python and Shell scripting .
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure DevOps .
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure VM resources including CPU, memory, OS, storage, and networking.
- Analyze application and system logs to troubleshoot performance and workflow issues.
- Work within Agile methodologies and adapt to evolving Azure cloud technologies.
