We're looking for an AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer with 4–6 years of experience who is excited to build production-ready cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and establish a scalable engineering platform for AtomFlo.
You will work closely with the CTO, Backend Engineers, AI Engineers, Frontend Engineers, and Product Team to build and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering AtomFlo.
About the Role
As an AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining AtomFlo's cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows.
You will own the infrastructure that powers our web application, APIs, AI services, databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and deployment automation.
This is a foundational engineering role where you'll help establish DevOps best practices from day one while ensuring AtomFlo is secure, scalable, and production-ready.
What You'll Work On

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure for AtomFlo.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployments.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and AWS services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Design infrastructure for secure multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Configure networking including VPCs, security groups,
load balancers, Route 53, SSL, and CDN.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across production systems.
- Manage databases, backups, disaster recovery, and infrastructure reliability.
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and infrastructure costs.
- Implement IAM policies, secrets management, encryption, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment workflows.
- Participate in architecture discussions with the CTO and engineering team.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and DevOps standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of professional DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience hosting and maintaining production SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, VPCs, DNS, load balancers, and security groups.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Strong Git/GitHub workflow experience.
- Good understanding of databases and cloud storage services.
Nice to Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator.
- Experience with ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, or serverless architecture.
- Experience deploying microservices.
- Familiarity with Redis and caching.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Aurora, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience deploying AI/LLM applications on AWS.
- Experience working in an early-stage SaaS startup.

Working Commitment
During the pre-investment stage:
- Expected contribution: 3–5 hours per day.
- Initial engagement: 6–12 months.
- Consistent contribution and ownership are expected.
- You will work directly with the CTO and engineering team.
- The role is intended to transition to full-time employment after AtomFlo secures investment, subject to mutual agreement and the company's hiring plan.
ESOP-Based Compensation
This is an ESOP-based opportunity during AtomFlo's pre-investment stage.
- ESOP allocation will be determined based on experience, technical expertise, responsibilities, and expected long-term contribution.
- ESOP terms, vesting schedule, cliff, and applicable conditions will be documented separately.
- The ESOPs are intended to provide meaningful long-term ownership in AtomFlo.
- Following successful investment, the role is intended to transition to a full-time paid position.
- Salary and full-time compensation will be discussed as part of the transition to the funded stage.
