Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Property Accounting professional with 15+ years of solid accounting experience and proven expertise in property accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and accounting processes related to property/real-estate operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end property accounting activities for multiple properties/projects.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Handle property-level income, expenses, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting of rental income, operating expenses, maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and other property-related transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, property managers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.




- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning for properties.
- Assist with internal and external audits and provide required schedules and supporting documentation.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and ensure timely closure of books.
- Lead and mentor accounting team members where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of solid accounting experience.
- Mandatory: Strong Property Accounting / Real Estate Accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience handling multiple properties/projects and property-level financials.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems/ERP and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting teams will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates currently working in Property Accounting, Real Estate Accounting, or related finance functions.
- Strong understanding of property-related accounting processes and financial controls.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days are preferred.
