Associate Vice President Information Technology (AVP IT)

Role Overview The Associate Vice President Information Technology (AVP IT) will support the IT leadership team in driving the organizations technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technology consulting capabilities. The role will focus on ensuring reliable and scalable IT operations while enabling business growth, operational efficiency, and high-quality technology solutions for internal and client-facing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

- Support the development and execution of the organizations IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and roadmaps.
- Drive IT governance, standards, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support senior leadership in technology-related decision-making.

2. Technology & Consulting Enablement

- Strengthen internal IT capabilities to support client engagements and business requirements.
- Oversee solution design, architecture, technology standards, and delivery practices.
- Support technical solutioning, RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
- Ensure effective adoption of modern technology platforms and practices.

3. Infrastructure & Systems Management

- Oversee IT infrastructure across multiple locations, including cloud, networks, servers, enterprise applications, and end-user technologies.
- Manage and support multi-tenant and multi-forest environments across the USA and India.
- Ensure system availability, reliability, performance, scalability, and business continuity.
- Manage both on-premises and cloud-based server environments.
- Drive automation, DevOps practices, and infrastructure modernization.

4. Cloud & Digital Transformation

- Support cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365.
- Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, AI,



and emerging technologies.
- Drive technology initiatives that improve productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Support development of new technology capabilities and innovation initiatives.

5. Cybersecurity & Compliance

- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls and IT governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, client, and data protection requirements.
- Support security audits, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Exposure to SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPAA, and ISO requirements is preferred.

6. Stakeholder & Client Management

- Partner with business and functional leaders to understand technology requirements.
- Support client discussions involving infrastructure, security, cloud, and technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and technology partners.
- Provide timely updates on IT initiatives, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.

7. Budget & Vendor Management

- Support IT budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and ROI initiatives.
- Manage technology vendors, service providers, contracts, and procurement.
- Evaluate technology investments based on business value, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

8. Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams across infrastructure, applications, security, and support functions.
- Establish performance objectives and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify skill gaps and drive training and capability-building initiatives.
- Build a culture of ownership, innovation,



collaboration, and service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in a leadership/management role.
- Experience in IT services, consulting, healthcare IT, or technology-driven organizations preferred.
- Strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/O365, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience managing distributed or multi-location IT environments.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud-based server environments.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPAA, and ISO preferred.
