We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Associate Director of AI/ML Engineering to lead the organization’s AI and Machine Learning initiatives. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, building high-performing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI/ML solutions at enterprise scale. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in AI/ML platforms, Generative AI, and MLOps, combined with proven experience managing engineering teams and developing scalable AI systems. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the AI strategy, foster innovation, and build enterprise-grade AI capabilities that drive business transformation.

Must Have Skills

* Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch.

- Expertise in statistical modeling (P1), NLP (P1), deep learning (P1), and reinforcement learning (P2).
- Cloud AI platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- ML pipelines and data architectures.
- Proven experience in building and deploying AI platforms and applications at scale.
- Expertise with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and up-to-date LLMs (GPT, BERT, Llama, Claude, Mistral).
- Strong understanding of MLOps tools and platforms (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex AI/ML projects.

Good to Have Skills

* Generative AI, LLMs, and AI ethics frameworks.
- Expertise on governance, security, and ethical compliance in AI systems.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or biotechnology.
- Familiarity with AI observability,

Leadership & Talent Development

* Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI/ML engineering team, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Define and execute a talent strategy focused on recruitment, training, retention, and career development.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and collaboration within the engineering function.

AI/ML Strategy & Delivery

* Develop and execute the AI/ML engineering roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives — from ideation and experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
- Drive the adoption of MLOps best practices including model versioning, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance in all AI/ML systems and processes.

Collaboration & Evangelism

* Partner with Product, Data Science, and Software Engineering teams to deliver AI solutions that generate measurable business impact.
- Act as an AI/ML evangelist, promoting awareness, education, and adoption of AI technologies across the organization.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize AI opportunities and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.

Innovation & Technical Leadership





* Provide hands-on technical guidance in AI/ML frameworks, architectures, and deployment methodologies.
- Lead innovation efforts by exploring emerging technologies such as LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and autonomous agents.
- Stay updated on AI advancements, tools, and regulatory considerations (e.g., data privacy, ethical AI).

Required Qualifications

* Master’s degree with 12–14 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 14–18 years in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related fields.
- Proven experience in building and deploying AI platforms and applications at scale.
- Expertise with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and modern LLMs (GPT, BERT, Llama, Claude, Mistral).
