Sun King collects payments digitally through mobile money systems and its 28,000 field agents, over 650,000 payments each day. Embedded electronics inside each Sun King device regulate usage based on payments, similar to the operation of a pre-paid mobile or electricity meter.

From cost-effective solar systems that provide home lighting and phone charging to robust solar inverters that can power high-energy appliances such as laptops, computers, refrigerators, and more, effectively acting as a full stand-in for grid power, Sun King products cater to a wide range of income segments and energy needs. About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate Regional Manager (ARM) to join our team in Varanasi, UP. The ARM will lead sales for Sun King Grid-Tied Inverters and Rooftop Solar (RTS) solutions under PM Surya Ghar Yojana and will work on engaging customers effectively to run overall sales in the region.

What you will be expected to do

1. Drive sales of Sun King grid-tied inverters and roof top solar systems.
2. Achieve sales targets by successfully mentoring a field sales team of energy officers.
3. Build business by organizing sales visits for existing leads, identifying and selling prospects;
4. Maintaining relationships with clients.
5. Build funnel through EPCs, EO (Energy Officers), banks, partners, and direct consumers & by identifying business opportunities by new channels and channel partners.
6. Conduct customer meets, demos, and partner activations.
7. Ensure complete documentation, KYC, and subsidy compliance.
8. Oversee installation coordination and payment collections.
9. Monitor customer experience and conduct field audits.
10. Ensure complete adoption of CRM and tech tools to manage the sales process through software tools used in Sun King.
11. Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company's customer base and solidify its presence.
12. Sell by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending and upselling solutions.

Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; recommending profit and service improvements.

You might be a strong candidate if you have A bachelor's degree in any field, technical background preferred. 2+ years of experience in direct to customer (D2C) sales.

Sales experience in solar rooftop (RTS) or microfinance (MFI).

Understanding of grid-tied systems, net metering and RTS processes.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile apps.

Language proficiency of English and Hindi.

Comfortable with extensive field travel.

Must be based out of, or willing to relocate to Varanasi, UP.
