Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Purchase professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities for a high-volume manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor development, price negotiation, purchase planning, order management and ensuring timely availability of materials as per production requirements.

Candidates with experience in manufacturing / laminate / chemical / paper / packaging / building material industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
- Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, consumables, engineering items, spares and other production-related materials.
- Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors as per company requirements.
- Maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers and ensure timely supplies.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders in SAP / ERP.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Finance and Logistics departments.
- Monitor material requirements and ensure uninterrupted availability for production.
- Analyze market prices, availability and alternate sources to achieve cost savings.
- Conduct vendor evaluation based on quality, cost, delivery and service parameters.




- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor data and MIS reports.
- Handle rate contracts and annual purchase agreements wherever required.
- Support cost-reduction and vendor-development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.
- Monitor pending Purchase Orders and ensure timely closure.
- Resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, pricing and deliveries in coordination with concerned departments.

Educational Qualification For Executive:

- Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Purchase, Operations or related field.

For AM / DM:

- Graduate / B.Tech / B.E. / MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Purchase, Operations or related field preferred.

Experience Executive – Purchase: 2–5 Years

Assistant Manager – Purchase: 5–8 Years

Deputy Manager – Purchase: 8–12 Years

Preferred Industry Experience:

Manufacturing / Laminates / Chemicals / Paper / Packaging / Building Materials / Process Industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in manufacturing procurement.
- Good knowledge of raw materials, consumables and engineering procurement.
- Experience in vendor negotiation and development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP / ERP-based purchasing.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Candidates available to work at Manak Tabra, Panchkula will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
