Role & Responsibilities

- Experience in Purchase of Raw Materials such as, Pellet / iron ore fines, coal, anthracite coal import, lime stone, dolomite, bentonite, castables

Expert in procurement of all kinds of Minerals (Eg Ferro alloys, Iron ore etc) & consumables for Steel Plant. Knowledge in international deals. Expertise in Contract finalisation.

- Pig Iron, MS Scrap Materials, Ferro Chrome, Ferro Silicon, Anthracite Coal imports, LAM Coke, PET Coke, Bituminous Coal

- Procure and Source Raw Materials like, Manganese Ore, Silicon Lumps, Low Silica Chromite, Ceramic Plant Raw Material like, DBM90, DBM97, Aluminium Carbon Grog, Magnesium Carbon Grog, Magnesium Sulphate, Magnesite Grog, Insulation Grog, Molasses, Fused Magnesite Chromite Grog, Billiton, etc.

- Having knowledge & Capable to Procure and Source Chemical Plant (RESIN) Raw Material like, Hydrated Phenol, Formaldehyde, Propylene Carbonate Import, Hexamine, Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG), Caustic Soda, Alfox 200. Process / Furnace Oil Raw Material like, Crude Benzol, Creosote Oil, CNSL, Rubber Processing Oil, Mix Solvents, Re-Refine Base Oil, Coal Tar, Bitumen Oil, etc.

- Accountable, responsible and monitoring and order finalization for day to day procurement of plant operational purchase of mechanical, electrical, civil, administration & consumables items.

- Purchase of all Bulk Raw Materials, Ferro Alloys, Spares, Consumables, Safety items, Stationeries, and Stores Stock items

- Negotiating and finalizing all Works Contracts, Job Orders, Labour Contracts.

- Entire activities of Stores management (project & revenue Stores),





- Inventory Management & Logistics.(Incoming and out going)

- All commercial activities including logistics of Captive Coal Mines and Captive Iron Ore Mines

- Planning & Scheduling of all Raw Materials, Stores Consumables, Stores Spares,

- Monthly Ledger processing.

- Handling of all Bulk Raw Materials through Rail and Ship, Including Rake movement and placement and Liasoning with Railway Authorities.

- Sale/ disposal of Secondary Products.

- Logistics and rate finalisation of out going/ incoming Goods. Logistics of all Plant wastes and their management like re-processing, recycling & reuse.

- Develop & Implement strategies planning & Procurement.

- Develop & Implement planning & procurement policies.

- Develop & implement various work for department excellence and support the company's growth.

- Build Supplier relationship management with key suppliers.

- Develop and strategize the project purchases -Coordination with Sales & Marketing,

- Over all controlling of all Project, Spares & Consumable Material.

- Procurement of MCL Coal. & Imported Coal.

- Stores Accounting & Raw Material Accounting.

- Proper storing and preservation of material.

- Preparation of all MIS Report materials related

Purchase Management :-

- Accountable, responsible and monitoring and order finalization for day to day procurement of coal beneficiation plant operational purchase of mechanical, electrical, civil, administration & consumables Ensure and responsible for complete strategic negotiation and approving for day to day Indenting of various materials and finalization of purchase orders.
